currently, I reside in the windy city of ellensburg. I just picked up the greatest hobby of knitting in October. Already I have made 5 scarves, 4 dishclothes, and currently have plans for much much more. Maybe I will dominate the world. Or just knit a cozy for it. :)
All of my knits have been gifts, minus one scarf. I have already complied somewhat of a stash of yarn too! But everytime I look at it, nothing appeals enough at me to make something for me. Sure, I can make it to give to others- especially my family since I never see them. But if I am going to make it for me, it needs to be extra special and soft and yummy! I have yet to find that as all the only store I have to shop in for yarn is Fred Meyer. Oh goody.
Besides knitting, I like many other crafts. Currently, I have started on a cross-stitch project that might take me until the end of time. Or next Christmas. Whatever comes first. I dominate a whole shelf (and more) in the hall closet of our apartment- it is devoted to crafts. There is a tub for paper, a briefcase full of stencils, paper cutter, and other fun stuff. There is another tub full of pen, markers, crayons, glue, etc- you name, I most likely have it. I probably could have my own shop by now. My yarn doesn't fit there- it owns a shelf on the bookcase in the bedroom.
I can't wait to move away from ellensburg. Then maybe in the new place I can actually set up my crafts and leave them out.
I will leave you with my last book
purchase- The Big Book of Beautiful Beads. 512 pages of wonderful projects that I can't wait to get my hands on! Woohoo!
